O.J. Simpson, what happened? Really, what is wrong with you? Are Nicole and Goldman's ghosts finally getting the better of you? You just cannot fly straight can you? You were given chance after chance, but you know the saying, "If you sleep with pigs, you are going to get dirty."

I do not mean to come across as judgemental, but goodness! The first thing I observed when I turned on the t.v. this morning while getting ready for work was the picture of a handcuffed O.J. smiling for the cameras as he was being escorted to a waiting police car. The news commentator mentioned that Mr. Simpson was being arrested for seven counts of robbery.

Later in the broadcast, the reporter mentioned the items that O.J. was trying to obtain illegally were sports related items that already had his autograph inscribed on them. Oh yeah, also, there were some Joe Montana cleats. Just enough stuff to warrant risking your freedom and being charged with Felony Robbery! O.J. What Happened?

I mean is O.J. so poor that he has to rob some collector to make ends meet? Just look at the crime scene; He was in a nice hotel in Las Vegas. He was attending a wedding and had just played golf earlier in the day. So obviously, he is not in dire straights looking for work. Did he really need the items that he thought were stolen from him?

God gave O.J. a second chance in 1995. I do not know why God permitted this and it is not for me to question the All mighty. You would think that O.J. would take his blessing and totally change his life and surroundings for the better. You know, maybe become a better father, etc. No, what the public heard from the one-time pro football star was a mixture of drug charges, erratic-threatening behavior from another woman who was in fear for her life, and finally a book trying to cash in on his "supposed" murder of Nicole and Goldman.

I honestly believe that God was pushed a little bit over the edge with O.J.'s behavior. Look at what occurred; The book "If I did It" publishing rights were awarded to Goldman's family and O.J. winds up back in jail.

When I was growing up, O.J. was revered. He was the man I wanted to become. I can still remember laughing at his comedic ability in the Naked Gun movies. This was shortly before the murders of Nicole and Goldman. I miss the O.J. from the 1970's and 1980's, he was a national icon.

Really, O.J. what happened? If it is the drugs, then the drug dealer that did this needs to be arrested. We will all be praying for you and your family.

A tragic story...I too grew up with O.J. and I miss the wholesome image he portrayed to the public, not this evil drug using, robbing, persona that he is now.

I liked your article, but I do not like O.J.
