No, the article's title does not refer to the aftermath of WW2, but some of you would of thought it was the end of the world when Paris Hilton was sentenced to jail three weeks ago for a probation revocation.

Today she is free! Or is she? Is she going to "play" the dumb blonde role, or is she going to keep her word and live her life for God and free of rashes?

I agree with the Paris supporters that the judge attempted to make a name for himself by placing her in jail. (This is why I did not mention him by name, for he does not need anymore publicity).

In all honesty, she did not need to go to jail for twenty-three days. A lot can happen when locked up for three weeks. She probably reflected on her life after sobering up and thought, "Oh my God what did I do? You mean I was not wearing underwear when I danced on the table? Oh, and what about this dvd, 'A Night in Paris?"

Her cute playful demeanor will more than likely be replaced with a foreboding and more mature outlook on life. I am sure she will be attempting to reform Lindsey Lohan and Nicole Richie before the day is over. Paris possesses more of a cunning type of intelligence (when she is sober). She will not want to be honored for going to jail like many of our gangster-rap musicians, she will want to educate the public that jail is not pretty or fun. In fact, she will probably say, "Jail...is not HOT!"

George "Chris" Cole experienced life as a law enforcement officer with a tour of duty lasting over ten years in law enforcement. He is the survivor of two marriages, and continues to meet new people that provide inspiration for many of his articles and short stories. Many of his articles have appeared in national and local publications.

In 2008, Chris abandoned West Texas and its' "Wal-Mart Trees" (Mesquite bushes that grow plastic bags) to move to the green pastures and real trees of Fredericksburg, Texas. Chris continues to work and hone his writing skills while breathing the fresh air of the hill country.

I pray that Pris lives her life in a more caring and sober manner. Maybe she can influence Lindsey, Nicole, and even Brittney in a positive way. Your writing style is cute. It is sprinkled with just a dash of sarcasm with a pinch of caring. Keep it up!

The Judge did the right thing, period. He sentenced her, she violated, they warned her, she violated and that was it, jail time, to the author do you think they would have done the same to you? also, make a name for himself, I bet if you went out and did random samples on the street at best one in twenty would know who the judge was.
