The Great Hunt
1

The China Berry tree limbs would sway with occasional March wind gusts. Sometimes the wind gusts were so strong it caused the tree limbs to bend down, as if the tree was picking up its lost berries; like a distraught mother finding her wayward toddler. I can still smell the freshly mowed lawn intermixed with the sweet smell of the China Berry tree blossoms being interrupted by the rich pungent smell of a... The Need For Silence

Most of my friends would describe me as peculiar, or better yet, most recently, as bipolar...and the more I think about it, they are not really friends, but bitter strangers that are jealous of my proclivity in noticing others' nuances. I agree that I spend a lot of time observing other people and their traits....passersby, so to speak, but I am NOT bipolar! They are just envious at my latent Sherlock Holmes-like deductive reasoning... (posted by Chris Cole 1 year 17 days ago.)

Walking On (Towards) The Sun

I was listening to the radio the other day...Wait, I think I need to clarify things for my younger readers: Kids, you know the thing located in the middle of the dashboard of your parents vehicle that has all those dials and knobs? That thing is called a "RADIO," and sometimes an adult will listen to what is being broadcast and promoted by a "Disk Jockey,"and not pre-programmed into an I-Pod. Anyway, I was listening to the... "Classy"

This morning, I was perusing my email when I noticed a piece of mail that covertly crossed from spam to my in-box. I was actually complimenting the senders' ingenuity (how he/she vaulted through my Gmail filtering system), when I became irritated and quite irked. No, I was not angry in the sender accessing my in-box; I was ticked at the erroneous use of adjectives incorporated through out the letter. I better correct myself here; it was not...
